Northern Bay Golf Resort & Marina in Arkdale, WI is is the Midwest’s only replica golf course.  The course features 18 holes that are made to replicate the most famous holes in golf.  #3 is a replica of the 16th at Augusta which will have you feeling like you are competing for a green jacket on Sunday.  #10 is a model of the famous island green at the TPC at Sawgrass and will have you sweating while standing on the tee.  And to finish off your round at #18 you will be playing a model of the 18th at Arnie’s Place, the Bay Hill Club.

Cold Water Canyon Golf Course - Wisconsin Dells

Cold Water Canyon Golf Course in Wisconsin Dells, WI is part of the Chula Vista Resort.  The course was built in the 1923 with the addition of the back nine in 1999.  The course plays rather short at only 5666 yards from the back tees and is a par 69 course.

Cold Water Canyon Golf Resort features two distinctly different nines.  The front nine is a traditional style with numerous trees and also canyons and other hazards. It has tight fairways and small greens.  The back nine is a Scottish links style course with grassy knolls, waste bunkers, rolling terrain and a lot of natural areas. The back nine has wide fairways and larger greens.

18 holes with a cart will run you around $65 -$80 depending on the time of year.  There are also many stay and play packages available if you choose to stay at the Chula Vista Resort which is across the street from the course.  The Cold Water Canyon Golf Course is a great place to play in Wisconsin Dells and is a fun and challenging round with the two very different style nines.

Wild Rock Golf Club opened on May 1, 2008 and is very unique championship golf course. Wild Rock combines three different landscapes into a enjoyable, challenging and scenic round of golf. It features sandstone ridges and rocky mounds from a former quarry and a beautiful woodland area that features a natural stream.

Wild Rock was was ranked #6 on Golf Digest’s “America’s Best New Public Courses” in 2010.  Golf Magazine listed Wild Rock as #5 “Top 10 New Courses You Can Play” in 2008 and also ranked the 4th best “New Public Golf Course of 2008” by Links Magazine.
